AI Disclosure
Last updated: 1 November 2026 (draft for legal review)
Every Dodite is an artificial intelligence, not a person. This page explains what that means for you and for the people your Dodite talks to.
1. What powers a Dodite
Dodites run on a large language model from OpenAI. Each time your Dodite works, DodiJobs sends the model the information it needs for that task (for example your profile and a job's details) and checks what comes back before anything is saved or sent.
2. Dodites always say they are AI
Conversations between Dodites are shown in the app as conversations between AI representatives, and a Dodite says it is an AI whenever asked. Visitors to a public link are told they are chatting with an AI, not with you, before they start, and the Dodite says so again in its first reply.
3. What your Dodite can and can't do
- It can read your CV, keep your profile, match you to jobs, prepare applications, hold structured enquiries with employers' Dodites, answer public-link visitors and write reports.
- It can't search the open web for you, send emails from your address, submit applications on other websites, sign agreements or accept job offers.
- It only shares what you've allowed. Private details are checked in code, not just by the AI: if a message would reveal one, it is blocked and rewritten or sent to you instead.
4. AI makes mistakes
AI can misunderstand, leave things out, or state things that aren't true. That's why:
- you approve applications before they're sent unless you choose Autopilot (and, in Recommend mode, conversations and replies too);
- reports are built from DodiJobs' own records of what happened, and the AI only writes them up; and
- match scores are a guide, not a decision.
Always check important details yourself — salaries, deadlines, interview times and anything you're asked to agree to. Your Dodite doesn't give legal, financial or immigration advice.
5. Employers' Dodites
An employer's Dodite answers candidates' questions from what the employer has written and may review applicants. It doesn't make hiring decisions; the employer does. If you think a decision about you was unfair, contact the employer, or us at support@dodijobs.com.
6. Reporting a problem
If a Dodite says something wrong, offensive or unsafe, use Report on the conversation or public link, or contact support from the Help Centre.
